COMMENT FONCTION LA CREATINE ?

La créatine agit principalement grâce à ses effets sur le métabolisme énergétique. L’adénosine triphosphate (ATP) est une molécule qui transporte l’énergie dans les cellules et constitue la principale source de carburant pour les exercices de haute intensité. Lorsque les cellules utilisent l’ATP comme source d’énergie, cette molécule est convertie en adénosine diphosphate (ADP) et en adénosine monophosphate (AMP). La créatine existe dans les cellules sous forme de créatine phosphate (ou phosphocréatine), qui cède un groupe phosphate de haute énergie à l’ADP, transformant ainsi cette molécule en ATP.

En augmentant le pool global de phosphocréatine cellulaire, la supplémentation en créatine peut accélérer le recyclage de l’ADP en ATP, reconstituant ainsi rapidement les réserves d’énergie cellulaire. Cette disponibilité accrue d’énergie peut favoriser des améliorations en termes de force et de puissance.
