Biography

Romain Courcier is not a fighter like the others. Nicknamed “The War Dog,” this 36-year-old Frenchman first served in the special forces before stepping into the ring of the largest bare-knuckle boxing organizations. From the army to bare-knuckle, he has made discipline and composure his signature.

His military past has forged an unbreakable mindset. Accustomed to extreme situations, he approaches combat with the same method as on the field: relentless physical and mental preparation. “I don’t feel fear because we train for it,” he confides.

In 2025, he made his professional debut in bare-knuckle boxing on American soil against seasoned opponents. While he faces setbacks in this sport as brutal as it is demanding, he brings the same intensity that has accompanied him all his life: move forward, endure, start again.

Settled in Miami, Romain Courcier doesn’t just fight. He teaches, as a kickboxing coach, and ventures, heading his own restaurant brand. This ability to lead multiple fronts simultaneously illustrates a discipline of life inherited from the field.

Preparation, rigor, surpassing oneself: the values that guide Romain Courcier are also those of DIX. Whether it’s pushing his limits in the ring or maintaining the pace of an athlete and entrepreneur’s life, he embodies the daily demand that the brand defends.
